I, Patricia A King, Town Clerk for the Town of Elma, County of Erie, State of New York, having received the Tax Roll Warrant for the year 2017, will collect same at the Elma Town Hall, 1600 Bowen Road, Elma, New York, on the following days and times.
January 16, 2017 thru February 15, 2017
Monday thru Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
February 13 through February 15, 2017

TAKE NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 15, 2017 without penalty. Thereafter, there shall be added a fee of one and one half percent ( 1.5 % ) thru February 28, 2017. An additional one and one half percent ( 1.5 % ) will be added each 15 days until May 1, 2017. On May 2, 2017 the seven and one half percent ( 7.5 % ) penalty that has accumulated, will be added to the Levy as the base tax. Thereafter, interest is added to the new base at the rate of one and one half percent ( 1.5 % ) per month on the first of each month, making 18.78 % in all, when unpaid taxes are sold in November.

The Tax Roll and Warrant shall be returned to the County Treasurer, County of Erie, after the close of the Warrant on June 30, 2017 .
